Environmental Site Assessment in Florida

Adviron Environmental Systems, Inc. has engineers and geologists on staff to conduct all type of phase I and phase II assessments.  Lien holders in most property transactions often require these assessments.  Law firms also use these types of assessment to acquire evidence of possible Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP).

Phase 1 environmental assessments include historical research on what activities may or may not have occurred on the property in question.  Under the direction of the client the Phase 1 is conducted under the ASTM 1527-05 standard, for full historical check, visual site assessment, and other requirements including historical data base search on adjacent properties.

Phase 2 assessment is a physical science approach to assessment.  Monitoring wells are placed on the property to assess if there is indeed groundwater contamination.  Soil samples are also collected and analyzed for whatever suspect contamination constituent may exist on the property.  A full report with recommendations is then prepared for the client or loan institution.  Many property buyers conduct such assessments prior to purchase to assure no environmental liability is bought with the property.
